Q. What is the process to sell some of my structured settlement payments? A. The law requires that all transfers of structured settlement payments and lottery prize payments be approved by a court. Singer undertakes to obtain the required approval in a fairly simple court proceeding. Singer will hire a lawyer initiate the court action and will seek approval for you to transfer some or all of your payments – depending on your specific needs.

Q. How long does the process take? A. It depends upon the state in which you live, but typically the process takes from 30 to 45 days after you return a signed contract to us.
